What is Qi Men Dun Jia?

Qi Men Dun Jia’s purpose is to put you in an optimum position to achieve the results you want in any competitive environment.  It is used to forecast and calculate the outcomes of your plans by understanding the use of timing and positive environmental frequencies.  It is a bit like using the understanding of weather patterns and the environment to ensure a bumper crop.

Qi Men Dun Jia is the mother system of all Feng Shui systems.  QMDJ is used to forecast the likely outcomes of key questions as they stand in current time.  Based on the forecast, a QMDJ chart offers options to pursue, to improve the forecasted outcome or to take action to alter an outcome you do not want.

It is compared to the moments when miraculous outcomes of actions and events come to us in the most unexpected ways.  While it is not a practice to conjure up magic and miracles, one can experience miraculous results.  It cannot be used to cheat Destiny, Fate or Death.  But it does allow you to design your own destiny and promote good health.  Qi Men Dun Jia works best when you can shift the pattern of your mind’s thinking to see you can create your reality or you can react to it.

What is the Meaning of Qi Men Dun Jia?

The transliterated meaning of Qi Men Dun Jia, is roughly, Mystical Door Hiding Jia or the Mystical Door Hiding Technique.  Deconstructed, it means the following:

Qi embraces the enigma of universal cosmic energy interweaved with the mystery and intrigue it brings as it unfolds on the human experience.  It is when you experience unreasoned and unseen events that are without explanations which can only be attributed to something miraculous.  Qi in this reference is not to be compared to the energy force of Qi we commonly know in Feng Shui.

Men literally translates to door or gate.  With ever action we take, we create circumstances where doors will open, while others shut.  The question is can we see the doors?  And, what door is best to walk through and at what moment?   Which ones will bring good fortune?  Which ones will bring unfortunate outcomes?  QiMen gives us the tool to gauge properly.  QMDJ is a tool to give a clinical assessment of the options available.

Dun means to hide or to ‘escape to remain hidden.’  Apple Inc uses strategy when it creates and unveils its products to the world.  They, like any successful company, use correct timing, deliberately manipulation of competition and branding.  Apple has its ‘state secrets’ that will be shielded from the public.  Real ‘secret weapons’ are what makes one victorious.  In any endeavor of major importance, we do not reveal all of our cards.  It is a game of concealment and modern day war in the business world.

Jia is first of the 10 Heavenly Stems, a foundation of all Chinese metaphysics.  The 10 stems reveals the outcomes surrounding any event in life.  Jia is first reference point and a coded military term for the General or the Grand Marshal.  In contemporary terms, it is the leader who must be shielded to preserve authority and command to ensure victory or success an any endeavor.

How Does Qi Men Dun Jia Work?

“It functions to support a person’s painstaking research and strategy development, to help one choose the exact time and place to put the plans in motion, ensuring success in a large swath of endeavors,” says Dato Joey Yap.

As it was the system used to preserve the rule of the emperor, it can be compared to a militaristic game of chess.  The ultimate goal is the defend, protect and conceal the King, while simultaneously advancing the King to conquer the opponent, by putting him in checkmate.

Superior strategy and use of exact timing are the central governing principles of Qi Men Dun Jia.  In order to win the battle and the war, the chessboard is the Qi Men chart which reflects the battlefield.  The Qi Men chart reveals the power equation of the two sides, offering options for what the best strategy to prevail.

This ancient craft of war is modernized to apply to contemporary conditions.  The beauty of Qi Men Dun Jia is it is a stand-alone system that can be learned without knowing BaZi and Feng Shui.  Having said that, knowing BaZi and Feng Shui gives you a solid foundation to understand Qi Men Dun Jia more quickly and better.

Where Does Qi Men Dun Jia Come From?

Qi Men Dun Jia is an ancient Chinese Metaphysical system that encompasses being in the right place, at the right time in order to control the outcomes of “luck.”  A historic classic, Sun Tzu’s Art of War is based on the fundamentals of Qi Men Dun Jia.

The revival of Qi Men Dun Jia has recently become a popular system of Feng Shui practiced in Asia after China began releasing the old texts.  Qi Men Dun Jia has its origins in the Warring States Period of China’s dynasties.  It stretches as far back as 3000 years ago. It was war strategy used by the military strategists of emperors and warlords to defeat the enemy.  “Its use during Chinese military history was so prolific that it was treated as a state secret until the end of the Qing Dynasty.”

The Victory of Right Timing

The use of Qi Men Dun Jia is to put yourself in the right place, at the right moment to absorb beneficial Qi.  It helps you capture the opportunities that introduce themselves and place you in a manageable position over the events that unfold in your life.  It helps develop strategy to pursue your objectives. Qi Men Dun Jia taps into the unknown universal energy on a spirit level to integrate its influence into life events.

It is becoming aware of and using all the tools available to put yourself in a Zone of Perfection and increase you ability to succeed at your objectives.  QMDJ levels up one’s position on a playing field to enhance the potential for success to achieve happiness and well-being.

It is not totally random as it includes some ability to identify and capture opportune moments in time.  It is knowing when to take what action at a precise moment, in the right place so we may reap the rewards.  There may be things that we may wish for and we might not expect.  We can see them, but they are not quite within our reach.  Qi Men Dun Jia allows us to enter the realm of possibility for our dreams.

We may call these miracles as we can’t understand how circumstances could have happened in this way.  Many of us have experienced these “miracles”.  Qi Men Dun Jia helps you design the situations you want to bring you in reach of your dreams.

Qi Men Dun Jia Feng Shui

A QiMen chart in a feng shui assessment gives you a remote view of any property before visiting the site.  It tells you the invisible problems as well as the visible.  It can give you a value assessment of the property you want to purchase.  It can give a value comparison between numerous properties. A QiMen chart will tell you the best direction to search for a good feng shui property that is suitable to the buyer.

How Do You Use Qi Men Dun Jia?

Qi Men Dun Jia can be used as a forecasting tool to create exceptional results in career, financial decisions, relationships, health, career pursuits, exams or launching important new projects, products or business ventures.  It can be used to level up one’s position in any negotiations.

It can be used to reverse unproductive or negative relationships and events in one’s life.  It can be used to find lost items.  Based on the goal, we can analyze the Qi Men Dun Jia chart that is derived at the moment of the posed question.  This allows us to pinpoint a specific, but optimum time to proceed and/or find solutions to problems.

Through centuries of use, adaptation and popularity of Qi Men Dun Jia, it expanded to included other methods of divination like the Yi Qing (IChing), Feng Shui, BaZi (Chinese Astrology) and ZeRi (auspicious Date Selection).  Most subsequent systems of Qi Men Dun Jia have no relationship to its original purpose as war strategy.  However, Joey Yap has adapted the lessons from history that appropriately apply to modern society creating a unique pool of benefits.

What is Qi Men Dun Jia based Upon?

The transliterated name of Qi Men Dun Jia, “Mystical Door Hiding Jia” evolves around hiding the Jia or Yang Wood.  Jia is the first of the 10 Heavenly Stems, the foundation to understanding all Chinese Metaphysics.  In war strategy, hiding the Jia was coded military language for hiding the General or Leader to protect him.  Similar to a game of chess, QMDJ is about protecting the King while he advances and to defeat and put the adversary into checkmate.

The greatest enemy to Jia is Geng or Yang Metal.  These are opposing elements compared to the Axe and giant Oak Tree.  the Axe’s intent is to chop down and destroy the tree, which would end its life, thus it becomes the enemy of Jia.  The entire system of Qi Men Dun Jia is to protect the “General” from the enemy, to avoid a destructive war, or to position the General in the commanding position so he emerges the victor.

A Qi Men Dun Jia chart will identify the strengths and weaknesses in the events surrounding any question.  The goal is to determine where the optimum points of time are to “strike,” or take action toward you goal, using the strengths to overcome the weaknesses.

Qi Men Dun Jia can be used forecast the probable outcome of events.  QMDJ uses a technique to calculate with great accuracy the exact moments to take action. Joey Yap talks about the 8 Doors in Qi Men Dun Jia

Feb 4 – Activate for 2014 Wood Horse Year

Feb 4 – Activate for your Advantage in 2014 Wood Horse Year

Activate the 4 Nobles for protection in 2014 Wood Horse Year

Activate the 4 Nobles for protection in 2014 Wood Horse Year. Joey Yap’s Pro Tong Shu 2014

February 4 is the key transition date into the Wood Horse Year. It is a fabulous day to kick off the new year by activating the “4 Nobles,” or 4 Kings in the home. The 4 Nobles are the main stars in the year that, if triggered in the home, can bring in Nobleman help, assist in solving problems and bringing immunity from negative Qi that may permeate the weak points in the home for 2014 Wood Horse Year.

Each year, we use 4 locations identified as the 4 Nobles which are called the Sun Star, Moon Star, Dragon Virtue Star and Fortune Virtue Star. The locations of the 4 Nobles change yearly as the Earth orbits around the Sun. Each can enlist the help of Nobleman, increase prosperity, happiness, good health, bring the ability to maneuver through choppy waters and turn negatives into positives.

On Feb 4 at 9am, I encourage you to activate all 4 locations in the home to herald in 2014 Wood Horse Year on a good strong footing. It will not prevent the ups and downs of life as that IS LIFE. However, it can greatly increase your ability to grasp opportunities, make better informed decisions and choices, and give you an edge to maneuver the year’s challenges. A healthy mental attitude and good physical health is always central to leverage your odds and level the playing field.

The locations of the 4 Nobles in the Wood Horse Year are noted on this diagram. Southwest 1 is the Goat's location. Northeast 1 is the Ox's location. West 2 is the Rooster's location. East 2 is the Rabbit's location.

Source Chart: Joey Yap, Mastery Academy of Chinese Metaphysics, Malaysia

On Feb 4th the main purpose of activating the 4 Nobles is to bring immunity to the year’s most challenging energies which are in the Northwest and East sectors of the home or office. Throughout the year, these locations can be repeatedly activated to help solve problems as needed (just like acupuncture). Leave your contact number below if you need help.

Below identifies the locations of the 4 Nobles in the home or work place for 2014.

What does it mean to Activate?

The Activation purpose is to stimulate positive Qi in the right place at the right time with movement: Use still water in Southwest 1. In the other locations, move furniture in and out after cleaning in the areas, pound a nail into the wall, play music for 24 hours in the locations. Water should be in a container approximately 3 feet tall. Minimally 8-10″ wide and 2-3 feet wide if the home is more that 2,000 square feet. Water collects Qi so it should be still water.

It is optimum if a main door or bedroom is at the location. A window is also helpful but not as effective. Leave them open for as long as you can. You can also activate outside by planting something and stirring up the Qi in the location. These actions trigger the energies of that star. This can be compared to acupuncture. Specific acupuncture points are stimulated to bring the body in balance. Date Selection at the right activation points are used to stimulate the qi in the home, bringing benefits to the occupants.

THE SECRET

To add SUPERIOR advantage to your Activation, go to the Southwest 1 sector, put your back to the SW and face Northeast. Either Pray or Ask for what you want in 2014 from your Guardian Angel, Spirit Guide, the Chief Deity or whatever divine help that you connect with. Be specific and ONLY use positive words.

For those of you who follow Qi Men Dun Jia, the Chief Deity is at maximum frequency at 9am on Feb 4th. A secondary hour is 1-3pm although not a potent. Anyone can use this Pray and Ask tool regardless of what is in your birth chart. It works best if in your Qi Men Dun Jia chart, your personal Destiny Palace or current luck palace is the Southwest.

FINDING THE SECTORS

Each 45 degrees of the 8 compass sectors are subdivided into 15 degree segments. The number next to the compass direction tells you which 15 degrees of the sector to activate. The most accurate way to identify the locations is to have a floor plan and over lay the compass directions onto the floor plan. Stand in the center of the home and measure with a compass where each sector is. For accuracy, get professional help if you can.

The house activation is not usable if you have a rat in any of your 4 pillars, either hour, day, month or year. This day is most effective for people with a Tiger, Dog or Goat in your day pillar and other pillars secondarily. It is most effective for people with Wood Horse, Fire Sheep or Metal Sheep in any of your four pillars, especially the day. It is not usable for people with a Rat in any of your 4 pillars.

2014 Wood Horse Year 4 NOBLES

Southwest 1 Goat (203° – 218°) has the SUN STAR

For Oops Problems
Sun Star’s strength is mitigating, dissolving and reducing the effects of problems and negative issues. Helps with execution of plans, ideas. Male noblemen come into your life. Especially useful for males, as it is a yang star. Opportunity to travel abroad and make profits from it. You stand on the path to righteousness. Use when a negative sector is accidentally activated (i.e. renovations or by neighbor). Best if you have a Pig, Rabbit or Horse in your chart. DO NOT ACTIVATE IF YOU HAVE AN OX IN YOUR BIRTH CHART.

West 2 Rooster (263°-277°) has the MOON STAR

For Communication Problems
Moon Star helps improve and solve communication issues, removes barriers or negative situations caused by communication problems. Helps brings opportunities to increase wealth, generate income, helps with strategy. Is money making behind the scenes. Indicates wealth luck, can make a serious investment or extend your portfolio. Property buying is good. Good Peach Blossom luck for males, but be careful if you are in a relationship. It is the mastermind of emotions and can affect moods. Female noble people come in your life. Especially effective for females, as it is a yin star. Pay attention to female superiors or subordinates. Use to remove blockages caused by break down in communications.

Best if you have a Snake, Ox or Dragon in your chart. DO NOT ACTIVATE IF YOU HAVE A RABBIT IN YOUR CHART.

Northeast 1 Ox (23° – 38°) has the DRAGON VIRTUE or Emperor Star

For Obstacles
Dragon Virtue rectifies wrongs, dissolves negative events, situations and legal problems, turns them into positives. Activate location to handle problems or you need help to enhance wealth luck, need a career boost or promotion. It is good for new contracts, friends, promotions, celebrations and happy events. One is in a good position to reap profits, see opportunities and make money. Those in high status stand to benefit more. Use when obstacles are insurmountable or difficult to remove and you are unable to reap rewards for your labor (especially monetary). It can be used to help get a loan from a bank (classic e.g. of money obstruction).

Best if you have a Snake, Rooster or Rat in your chart. DO NOT ACTIVATE IF YOU HAVE A GOAT IN YOUR CHART.

East 2 Rabbit (83°-97°) has the FORTUNE VIRTUE STAR

For Happiness and Happy Events
Fortune Virtue helps brings happy events, good relationships, removes obstacles with helpful people supporting you. All endings are positive! You must commit to overcome the issue with this star. When the Chinese talk about prosperity and good fortune, they are talking about the quality of life – happiness, contentment and satisfaction and not necessarily money. This is for limiting worries, good health and ability to self-cultivate. It improves the quality of life. Use for happy events and good tidings. Note: For 2014, this sector has problems. Use only with my help.

Best if you have a Pig, Goat, or Dog in your chart. DO NOT ACTIVATE IF YOU HAVE A ROOSTER IN YOUR CHART.

Click here to find your 4 animals in your BaZi chart. http://www.masteryacademy.com/baziv4/registerBaZi.asp

Direction is one aspect of solving the problem. We must also do the right thing at the right time. We use ZeRi or Date Selection for timing. The date and time selection aspect is utilized to maximize positive outcomes of the date. If during the year you need help, feel free to contact me for auspicious dates to trigger the Qi you need.

May all the dreams you have, the goals you set, the peace you seek, the happiness you desire all come to you in the Wood Horse Year!

2014 WOOD HORSE YEAR

As seen through the Qi Men Dun Jia Chart (Mystical Door Hiding Technique)

Above is the Qi Men Dun Jia Chart (QMDJ) for the 2014 Wood Horse Year, which officially begins Feb 4, 2014. February 4th is different from Chinese New Year, which begins on January 31. QMDJ is currently the most advanced Feng Shui system out there and is becoming quite a popular system to use in Feng Shui as the results are quicker and stronger.

QMDJ uses the power of 8 Deities, commonly known as the 8 Immortals in Chinese culture. The Chief Deity is the most powerful and popularly used of the 8 Deities in Qi Men Dun Jia. The Chief Deity for 2014 Wood Horse Year is located in the North sector of the compass and hence, in the North of your home or place of business. It is known to help you prevail over your competitors and greatly increase the possibility of your goals and objectives coming to life.

Some, compare Qi Men Dun Jia to what we know in western culture as the “The Secret” or “Law of Attraction.” However, QMDJ uses the additional power of the universal energies of the 8 Deities. The 8 Deities are compared to Guardian Angels and Spirit Guides in western culture. The Deities stimulate the Asker to manifest his/her goals and objectives and by asking and envisioning what you want.

Each Deity has its own “speciality” for its ability to assist the Asker. The Chief Deity is the one most used as his ability is magnified and he resides over the other 7 Deities. The use of Chief Deity in 2014 Wood Horse Year will trigger the process for making your goals come to life. In 2014 Wood Horse Year, Chief resides in the North.

The way to use the Chief Deity is first know where is your home or Life Palace in your QMDJ chart. It will be one of the compass sectors of North, Northeast, East, Southeast, South, Southwest, West or Northwest. Once you know it, you then watch for months the Chief arrives to your Life Palace. You sit with your back to the Chief when it lands in that palace. You face the opposite direction and Ask for what you want. You can take as long as you want, but really you only need a few seconds or minutes.

The system is more powerful when used in tandem with the months, days and hours when the Chief aligns several times into your Life Palace sector. Each layer concentrates the power of the Chief. Anyone can use the Chief when it lands into your Life Palace. However, if in your personal QMDJ chart, the Chief is your personal Deity, your ability to drive home your dreams is multiplied significantly. Lucky are those individuals.

The other way to use Chief is to watch where it lands in the month, day and hour and put your back to that direction and face opposite and make your Ask. However, it is much more powerful when it arrives in your Life Palace.

The STEPS to Take:
You must be in an Alpha State (calm and meditative) to call in the Deity of request. We call this the Sage Mode. Some people use mediation to get into this state. If you are upset, angry or sad, wait until you feel better as you must be in the “Zone.” You then Ask for what you want. You must use only POSITIVE and strong words in your ask. So the words not, no, don’t, hope, wish, etc should not be used. You must Ask, THEN Feel, Believe and Expect for the wish to come true. Then you must take some action to start the process of reaching your goal.

Below is the month chart for January 2014. It shows the Chief Deity in the Northeast for this month. If Northeast is your Life Palace (as is mine), place your back to the NE, face SW and Ask for what you want. You can use this direction until Feb 3, then the Chief moves to another location.

If your Life Palace is the North, in the months and days the Chief moves to the North, it would bring a 3 layered alignment of the Chief into the North sector, hence magnifying its strength. The Asking at those time, increases the capacity for your request to come to reality.
